Unmatched milling flexibility enables Cereal Process Technologies to offer unmatched guarantees in corn dry fractionation. But we didn’t design our guarantees to suit our technology. We designed them to suit our customers’ needs.

CPT’s patented milling technology is the key to our new “flexible” guarantees – and CPT is the only firm in the industry to offer them.

With CPT technology, the producer can “dial in” the starch and oil recoveries desired to meet his or her market’s demands. And we’ll guarantee that. CPT’s unique milling technology, for example, enables us to guarantee 92 percent starch recovery and 70 percent of the corn oil from the incoming whole corn.

If starch is more valuable, CPT can help the ethanol producer capture more of it by “dialing in” a higher starch stream. We’ll guarantee a 94 percent minimum starch recovery and, correspondingly, a 57 percent minimum oil recovery.

Understand Guarantees

It’s important to be informed about the meaning of guarantees. Some companies will guarantee one stream at the expense of another. While less precise milling may produce an endosperm yield of 95 percent, for example, it may do so at the expense of germ yields.

CPT’s guarantees are for all fractioned streams: high yields are achieved and guaranteed for each stream simultaneously.
