The corn fractionation technology was invented by R. James (Jim) Giguere who holds all of the original patents. Jim is a degreed chemical engineer (University of Minnesota) who spent his entire career of over 50 years in the corn processing industry. Jim’s industrial experience includes wet mills, ethanol processing and corn products processing for the food industry. In the early 70’s he began the research into a more efficient method of fractionating corn for food use. What literally began with a single corn kernel and pair of pliers has evolved into the most efficient corn fractionation process in existence. Although semi-retired, Jim’s knowledge and expertise continues to impact his patented dry corn fractionation process design. His most recent technology advances includes a patent pending aspiration system.
