Cereal Process Technologies, LLC Announces New Project Manager

May 7, 2008 – Cereal Process Technologies, LLC (CPT) is pleased to announce Mr. Nathanael Neufeld as the new Project Manager to support the deployment of CPT's patented Corn Dry Fractionation technology in the Ethanol industry. Mr. Neufeld, a milling science professional, brings significant expertise in the milling industry to provide integral support to CPT's Director of Technical Services, Mr. Michael Regier.

Nate arrives from Pendleton Flour Mills in Pendleton, Oregon where he was the Plant Manager. Previously, he was the Plant Manager for ADM Milling in Buffalo, NY. Mr. Neufeld's entire career has been in the milling industry since graduating from Kansas State University in 1994. He will report to Mr. Regier, who is also a graduate of Kansas State University, and who oversaw the installation and start up of the CPT fractionation facility in Jefferson, WI.

Mr. Neufeld earned his Bachelor of Science in Milling Science and Management from KSU. He is a member of the International Association of Operative Millers and served as the 2007 Pacific District Chairperson. He also has participated in many post graduate training seminars. According to Mr. Will Duensing, CPT's President, "Nate brings a unique blend of experience and knowledge to CPT that will enhance our ability to serve our growing list of corn dry fractionation customers. Both Nate and Michael allow CPT to offer unparalleled expertise and support to plants that utilize CPT fractionation technology."

Cereal Process Technologies offers a unique patented technology that separates the critical components in corn to create a more concentrated starch stream for more profitable ethanol production, significantly increasing the ethanol yields and the plant's return on investment. The CPT fractionation technology is a proven process that is currently being utilized in three full-scale industrial applications. The first full-scale operation integrated with an ethanol plant has recently started up at Renew Energy in Jefferson, Wisconsin and additional contracts with ethanol plants are currently being negotiated.

The CPT fractionation process creates higher value co-products, while simultaneously reducing ethanol production costs. As a result of the process, higher protein DDGS will enable the ethanol facility to target the broader poultry and swine markets. The corn germ will be extracted to produce a high quality and high value corn oil. The bran will be used as a feed ingredient or a potential cellulose to ethanol feedstock.
